Research Interests
The "Extreme Environments and Impact Lab" at Seoul National Univ. studies materials and structures under extreme conditions like space environments or hyper-velocity impact. They research new materials and designs to withstand or utilize these conditions, model and simulate extreme events, and test materials and structures. The lab's work could lead to new technologies and systems that operate effectively in extreme environments and improve safety and reliability of existing ones.
